By 2022, we are asking God for 3,000 baptized, self-feeding, disciple making followers of Jesus who are letting the gospel shape every sphere of their lives.

The Journey Church is fast growing church in Lebanon reaching people from all around Middle Tennessee. We are multi-generational and multiracial with folks from every social economic status.

We want everything we do to show and display the radiance, glory, beauty, and majesty of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re exploring faith or a longtime believer, we want to cultivate in you deep affections for the gospel.

We gather to celebrate the gospel in WORSHIP, apply the gospel in COMMUNITY, and extend the gospel on MISSION. More Info How we worship, how we live, how we serve, how we give, are all ways in which we showcase Jesus.

We believe everyone’s life would be better if Jesus were the center of it. So by showing Jesus as incomparably glorious we hope to see a radical reorientation of people’s lives on Jesus.

We know that before you visit a church, you are going to have some questions. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to better help you understand what you can expect when you come to The Journey Church.

What do you preach?

At the Journey, we believe that the Bible is the perfect, inerrant Word of God. Therefore, all sermons are Bible-saturated and gospel-centered. This is achieved through preaching books of the Bible and short-term topical series. At TJC, you can always count on the Word of God being preached in a way is understandable and practical for your life. Check out some of our past sermons.

What is the worship like?

The music at TJC is a powerful combination of upbeat celebration and sober reflection on all that Christ has done for us. We use instruments and a band to lead the music. We believe the music quality should be excellent and showcase the gospel. So whether it’s a contemporary song or a traditional hymn, the gospel will take center stage in our worship music.

What should I wear?

The Journey is come as you are. You will see everything from jeans and t-shirts, shorts to the occasional shirt and tie. Whatever you are comfortable wearing, that’s how you should come. God is not concerned with what we wear, only with the condition of our hearts.
