One Candle to Burn

I have but one candle of life to burn and would rather burn it out where people are dying in darkness than in a land that is flooded with light. – Hudson Taylor

Major Kingdom Impact

Any missionary will say long-term engagement is the MOST effective way to reach the lost across all cultures. Our influence is strongest with those we’ve spent many hours with over the years. For the first time in TJC’s history, there is an opportunity for TJC as a whole to take a step of obedience and be a church that sends its own…just as Paul was sent by the Antioch church and made it his ambition to preach Christ where He was not yet known.

TJC, would you consider serving in a long-term capacity to invest your time, gifts and talents for deeper Kingdom impact? Long-term is not forever. It’s but a blip on our eternal timeline. What an opportunity to be bold, to be courageous, and run after God’s boundless love with what He has already given you.

All the ends of the earth shall remember
and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
shall worship before you.
For kingship belongs to the Lord,
and he rules over the nations. Psalm 22:27-28
